Come for the coffee, stay for the view.
Kai sits right on the beach in Ahangama, and the first thing you see is the ocean framed by a big thatched arch. Rattan chairs, round wooden tables and nothing between you and the waves.
We sat down for coffee and ended up staying a long time. The light comes through the roof in stripes, the sea is loud in the best way, and it's the kind of place where you put your phone down and just look out.
Tip: grab a table at the front edge of the terrace for the clearest view of the waves, and come in the morning when the sun hits the tables.
