Shady Lane in Mirissa is the kind of brunch spot where every plate comes out looking like a little work of art. Wooden tables, plants all around, and a menu that makes it really hard to choose.
We went for the sweet side. Stacked pancakes with mango, strawberries and a scoop of ice cream, French toast drowned in caramel, and a mango chia pudding piled high with fruit and flowers. A cappuccino and an iced coffee on the side, and we were set for the day.
Tip: come hungry and share a few plates so you get to try more than one thing.
